    東北大學機器人科學與工程學院簡介

    東北大學始建于19234月,是教育部直屬、國家首批“211工程“985工程重點建設的高校。

    Founded in April 1923, Northeastern University (NEU) is one of the national key universities under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education, China. NEU is designated as the national key university of the “211 Project” and “985 Project”.

     

    機器人科學與工程學院成立于20159月,是國內“985高校首個機器人學院,由東北大學、沈陽新松機器人自動化股份有限公司和中國科學院沈陽自動化所合作建立。學院以中國智能機器人產業發展趨勢和需求為背景,以發展智能機器人技術為基礎、培育自主知識產權智能機器人產業為核心、為國家經濟建設培養高端智能機器人產業的高素質復合型應用人才為目標。合作三方將充分發揮各自優勢,瞄準科技前沿,共同探索機器人及相關領域拔尖創新人才選拔培養的新途徑,推進機器人領域科技創新,為遼寧省及沈陽市打造世界級機器人產業基地提供有力的智力支撐和人才保障。機器人學院將采取新型人才的培養模式,合作三方共同開展合作教學和人才培養,推進機器人學科與相關學科的交叉融合。

     

    The Faculty of Robot Science and Engineering (RSE) is founded in September 2015. It is the first robot college in top universities in China. RSE is jointly established by Northeastern University, Shenyang SIASUN Robot&Automation Co.,LTD.. and Shenyang Institute of Automation Chinese Academy of Sciences. Under the trend and demand of China's intelligent robot industry, RSE takes the development of intelligent robot technology as basic task, cultivating intelligent robot industry with independent intellectual property rights as core responsibility, and aims to cultivate high-quality compound application talents needed in the high-end intelligent robot industry for the national economic construction. Tripartite cooperation give full play to their respective advantages, aim at the cutting-edge of science and technology, and explore new ways to select and train top-notch innovative talents in the robot and related areas to promote the innovation of robot science and technology, and provide strong intellectual support and talent protection to build world-class robot industry base for Liaoning Province and Shenyang City. The Institute will adopt new mode to train talents. Tripartite cooperation carry out cooperative teaching and training to promote the cross integration of robotics and related disciplines.

     

    機器人科學與工程學院以東北大學控制科學與工程一級學科(自動化專業)為依托,承擔機器人科學與工程模式識別與智能系統二級學科建設。東北大學控制科學與工程學科現為國家重點一級學科,在教育部組織的三次全國一級學科評估中分別排名第1、第2和第2位。東北大學機器人科學與工程、模式識別與智能系統學科均具有碩士學位和博士學位授予權,并設有博士后流動站。

    Based on the first-level discipline (Automation) of the Control Science and Engineering of Northeastern University, RSE undertakes the construction of two sub-disciplines of "Robot Science and Engineering" and "Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System". The discipline of Control Science and Engineering of Northeastern University is one of the national key discipline, ranked 1st, 2nd and 2nd respectively in the last three national first-level disciplines evaluation by the Ministry of Education. The Robot Science and Engineering, Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems disciplines are entitled to the conferment of master and doctoral degree, and have post-doctoral research station.

    機器人科學與工程學院師資力量多元,來自于控制、機械、計算機等多個相關學科。現有專兼職教師40余名,60%的教師具有副高級以上職稱,60%的教師具有境外留學或工作經歷。在教師隊伍中,現有博士生導師8人、碩士生導師15

    RSE has a total more than 40 teachers from the automatic control, mechanical engineering, computer science and other related disciplines. 60% of teachers are with senior titles, and 60% of teachers have overseas study or work experience. Currently, RSE has 8 Ph.D supervisors and 15 M.S supervisors.

     

    學院辦學層次為高等教育,覆蓋了大學程度的學士、碩士和博士。滿額后在校生500人,其中研究生占50-52%,本科生占48-50%

    RSE is entitled to the conferment of master and doctoral degree. The total enrolled students are around 500, of which 50-52% are graduate students and 48-50% are undergraduate students.

     

    為適應國際化辦學需求,學院正在與世界知名的機器人名校洽談合作事宜,已達成開展國際交流與合作、共建世界一流機器人學院的初步合作意向,如合作成功必將成為政府、學校、企業、國外機構四方聯動、共建世界頂級機器人學院的重要典范。此外,機器人科學與工程學院與美國密歇根州立大學、明尼蘇達大學、澳大利亞悉尼大學、英國謝菲爾德大學、新加坡南洋理工大學、香港中文大學等一批國際著名院校建立了教學合作關系,通過專題會議、網上交流、人員互訪等形式,及時溝通和交流機器人工程專業人才培養的經驗,學習國外先進的教學理念,有效地拓寬辦學視野。

    To internalize the college, RSE is working with the world famous universities to discuss cooperation matters. Currently, RSE has signed agreements with world-famous robot research institute or universities. RSE will become a model in China of building world-famous college by cooperation of "Government, University, Enterprise, and Foreign Institutions” in foreseeable future. In addition, RSE has established a teaching cooperative relationship with a number of internationally renowned institutions such as Michigan State University(MSU), University of Minnesota(UMN), The University of Sydney(USYD), The University of Sheffield(Sheffield), Nanyang Technological University(NTU) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong(CUHK). With the cooperation of those universities, RSE timely exchanges the training experience of students majored in Robot Engineering with other universities through Special Sessions, Online Communication, Staff exchange etc., and learns advanced teaching concept and effectively broaden the vision of running a college.

     

    機器人科學與工程學院的主要研究方向有:人工智能、智能機器人、模式識別、圖像處理與計算機視覺、虛擬現實技術、多媒體傳感器網絡等,均屬于國內外的研究熱點,具有廣闊的發展前景。近年來,學院教師先后承擔了一系列國家863計劃、國家自然科學基金、國際合作重點項目等,在智能機器人、人機協作、圖像處理、傳感器網絡等領域進行了廣泛深入的研究,取得了重要的理論與應用成果,形成了鮮明的學科特色與優勢。

    The main research areas of RSE are artificial intelligence, intelligent robot, pattern recognition, image processing and computer vision, virtual reality technology and multimedia sensor network. All of them are hot research topics, with broad development prospect. In recent years, college teachers have undertaken a series of projects, such as National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program), The Natural Science Foundation of China projects(NSFC), Key Program for International S&T Cooperation Projects of China and so on. Based on those projects, extensive and in-depth research have been carried out in the field of intelligent robot, human-computer collaboration, image processing, sensor networks and other fields, and important theoretical and practical results have been obtained, forming a distinctive discipline features and advantages.

     

    在沈陽市政府、東北大學等多方的支持下,機器人科學與工程學院開展了智能機器人創新研究平臺的建設。針對于研究生教育,學院目前建立有云機器人平臺、視覺感知平臺、智能移動機器人、人機協作等多個先進機器人創新平臺,建立了仿生移動機器人實驗室、人工智能與機器視覺實驗室、人機協作實驗室、云機器人與視覺感知實驗室和智能自主機器人實驗室。針對于本科生教學,學院正在籌建本科生公共教學實驗室。學院目前已經規劃出移動機器人實驗室、工業機器人實驗室、飛行機器人實驗室、機器視覺實驗室等多個面向本科生實驗教學和創新研究的實驗室,配合課程教學的實驗環節。

    Supported by Shenyang Municipal Government and Northeastern University, RSE has carried out the construction of intelligent robot research platform. For the postgraduate educating, RSE has established a platform for the development of advanced robots, such as cloud robotics platform, visual perception platform, intelligent mobile robot, human-machine cooperation and so on, and established Bionic mobile robot laboratory, artificial intelligence and Machine Vision Laboratory, human-computer cooperation laboratory, cloud robotics and visual perception laboratory and intelligent autonomous robot laboratory. For undergraduate teaching, RSE is preparing to establish many teaching labs and innovation research labs for undergraduate students, including mobile robot lab, industrial robot lab, UAV lab and machine vision lab.
